Hostgator doesn´t allow arcade sites on their shared hosting anymore!

All arcade sites on Hostgator shared hosting will be suspended!!! This surprising message comes from PHPArcadeScript stuff to all owners of phpas - one of the best paid arcade scripts today. Here is part of conversation between hostmonster stuff and them, as it was published in this e-mail:

I was really shocked when I read this message for the first time. Arcade sites not allowed on shared hosting??? OMG, what this should mean? Have Host Monster just gone crazy or what??? Not sure about the answer (although I´m pretty sure, it should be YES) but what I know for sure is that hostmonster did really bad step. Bad step to their own customers... If this conversation is true (and I don´t have any reason why should I doubt about it) all arcade webmasters should stop promoting and using their services!

Finger Footy - original football/shooter game

Here´s another day and obviously another new game on our arcade site. Today, there is an addition in the category of sport games. You can check it here:

FINGER FOOTY

Football Footy is a funny football game sponsored by Pepsi. Normally, these games, sponsored by big corporations, are not really too interesting (of course, that´s my point of view, I just don´t like them :-)), frankly, they use to be very boring, but Finger Footy is really different.

Your aim is to defend your hand against a bunch of soldiers (from antique Rome, maybe?) by shooting them down with a small ball. For each soldier you´ve got some points, if you score the goal, you´ve got another bonus (15 points for one goal). After couple of these little creatures it becomes pretty hard to shoot them down all :-)

Complete change of design - Online Games 3

After 2 months of running my online arcade site I have decided that it´s time for change. In fact, I was wondering multiple times before how to develop my site to become more user friendly for all online gamers. Finally, I´ve gone for it and I change my template.

The biggest change is layout style - I have upgraded site from 2 column to 3 column templates. Now, navigation is much more easier on the site. I have also changed colors. Although I liked my old velvet combination, I have chosen dar blue color combination with white background.

Witch change of template, I have added also a couple of new modules to the site. Now, you can bookmark your favorite game right from the site, you can view top 25 played games (with top 10 published on the main page) and also top 25 newest games (same as for top played games - you can see top 10 on the main page).

I have also added "select game" option, which I have deleted some time ago. Now, if you know the name of your favorite game, it´s easier to find it from the site.

"Online Games 3" should be now faster, more user-friendly and I hope you´ll like it. Anyway, check it out for yourself to see if you like recent changes :-)

Resize Shoot - New Shooter Game on Online Games 3

I want new shooter game! That´s what I´ve been thinking when I started to look for today´s new game addition to my arcade. As always, I have looked around few arcade sites I like and finally I went to talkarcades.com. And I found this funny game:

RESIZE - O - SHOOT

This game was originally published by FlashNinjaClan.com some time ago, but it´s still very interesting especially for lovers of funny shooter games. You can not destroy all bombs by shooting at them. You have to change also size of your bullets - blue bombs can be shot by bigger bullets, green bombs by smaller and black ones can be destroyed only by bullets with approximately same size. If you like shooter games, this one is definitely for you!

I´m pretty curious if Resize - O - Shoot will break in top 3 in shooter games categories, because I´m sure this game is one of the good additions and can mixed up this "mini-chart".

New Motorcycle Game: FMX Team

Today´s "editor pick" is another addictive and quite funny game, called FMX Team. How did I find this game? I looked around my favorite arcade websites and finally I ended on Albino Ninja. I really like this site, because its owner is very friendly and innovative - he picked AVarcade script made by Andy, totally changed its design and made a fabulous online games site. On his site there are only about 90 games, but all are hand picked and quality games! I have looked for his most played game and found:

FMX TEAM

Basically, this is a freestyle motocross game. You have to perform stunts and tricks and get enough point to advance to the next level. Another similar game Monster Wheelie has become the most popular game on my online games site so I´m pretty sure you´ll like this one too. In FMX Team, there is 15 levels in total but gameplay is pretty free - you just have to perform enough stunts (which is not so hard at the beginning) . The real fun comes with these stunts - you can show all your skills and fantasy by training to make wonder with your motorcycle.

I was not sure where to add this game on the site, if I should add it into action games or racing games and although its not a classic racing game at all, I have finally decided to add it there. Have fun, buddies!

New Logic Game: Boomshine

All friends of logic games should celebrate now! After adding a 3 different games from Andrew´s toplist (remember him? old owner of Finger Monkey) I have chosen his number one. So here is the most popular game on his site from the days he owned this arcade:

As all games published on my arcade site I have played this game before adding it to my portfolio and I have to say I was just amazed!

Your goal is to burst as many dots as needed to pass the level. There is a total of 12 levels, first 3-4 are just training levels, to teach you how to burst multiple dots at the time. Really hard part of this game is in its 10-12 level. You have to burst 55 dots from 60 which are on the screen at the end.

Anyway, what is so motivating and addictive on this logic game is its beauty. I would never thing that bursting dots can be so great - colorful images are changing in frot of you and you are just wondering how beautiful can be such a simple game.

If you are fan of great, highly addictive online logic games, I strongly advice you to play this game as I´m sure you´ll find it great too!
